The Naples office of Roetzel & Andress, LPA, continues a period of expansion with the addition of new partner Brian V. McAvoy. Mr. McAvoy joins recent hires Lisa H. Lipman and Nichole Hughes Waid as the firm continues to grow its presence in Southwest Florida. Mr. McAvoy’s practice is focused on estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate litigation, general business and real estate law. He is a board-certified specialist in estate planning and probate law in the state of Florida.

Mr. McAvoy, formerly a partner with Harter Secrest & Emery LLP in Naples, Florida, is a very active member of the Naples community, serving on the board of directors of the David Lawrence Center and as a trustee for The Community Foundation of Collier County. He earned his J.D. from the State University of New York, Buffalo Law School, and his B.A. from Hamilton College. Mr. McAvoy is licensed to practice law in Florida and New York.
