Two Roetzel Attorneys Named 2024 Illinois Rising Stars

Super Lawyers has recognized Roetzel & Andress associate Andrew Clott and shareholder Jeffery Ramirez as 2024 Illinois Rising Stars.

Rising Star selections are based upon peer recognition and professional achievement, with recipients representing the top 2.5 percent of up-and-coming lawyers in Illinois, according to Super Lawyers. To qualify, nominees must be no more than 40 years old or have been practicing for less than 10 years.

Clott handles complex disputes involving the formation and dissolution of business organizations, contractual disputes, and shareholder derivative claims. Andrew also has significant experience litigating intentional tort claims, including defamation and false light, breach of fiduciary duty, and fraudulent misrepresentation.

Ramirez focuses his practice is focused in the areas of estate planning, guardianships, estates and trusts and business transactions. He works with individuals, families and businesses to implement estate planning strategies to preserve wealth and minimize taxation. He works closely with his clients and their advisors to understand each client’s planning objections while also identifying any future family disputes or contested ligation.
