Bryan is an experienced trial attorney and shareholder in Roetzel's Litigation Practice Group. He focuses his practice on complex, commercial litigation, business disputes, construction disputes, and probate litigation. 

He has extensive experience counseling and representing individual and corporate clients in business, partnership, and shareholder disputes and severance; negotiations; breaches of contract; breach of fiduciary duties; fraud; statutory and regulatory compliance; restrictive covenants such as non-compete, non-solicitation, and confidentiality; misuse of confidential information and trade secrets; temporary restraining orders, preliminary, and permanent injunctions; and best business practices.  

Bryan is sought after for probate, estate, and trust litigation, and regularly represents individuals in the pursuit and defense of will and trust contests, declaratory actions, executor removal actions, and other probate issues surrounding undue influence, testamentary capacity, and financial exploitation.

He seeks the best outcome for his clients at the earliest opportunity by using a proactive approach to develop and implement focused and coordinated litigation strategies tailored to his clients’ needs. Bryan prides himself on building strong client relationships through frequent and strong communication, allowing his clients to make informed decisions.

Experience
  • Defended home builder against multiple claims, to include breach of contract and allegations of CSPA and HCSSA violations. Prevailed on most claims prior to trial via summary judgment and the remaining few issues at trial via directed verdict; judgment included an award of fees from a fee shifting provision in the contract as well as sanctions for altering filings
  • Secured a multi-million judgment at arbitration on behalf of a local brokerage firm against a former employee and his new employer, joint and severally, on claims of theft of confidential information and breach of non-compete/non-solicitation restrictive covenants
  • Defended against years-long, frivolous will challenge and secured one of the largest awards of fees and sanctions ever granted from the Probate Court; upheld on appeal
  • Removed executor for showing of self-dealing following contested hearing
  • Favorably resolved a homeowner’s claim against a home builder for unworkmanlike product prior to trial
  • Favorably resolved allegations against client accused of embezzling over a million dollars from former employer prior to trial
  • Successfully defended frivolous challenge by prior beneficiaries to a will containing an in terrorem clause; upheld on appeal
  • Favorably resolved dual litigations regarding my client's dower claims and addressing invalid ultra vires transfers of company stocks prior to spouse's passing
  • Negotiated favorable settlement addressing right-of-way easement and recordation issues that permitted my clients access to, and full use of, their landlocked property
  • Favorably resolved a derivative suit alleging, among several other claims, breach of contract, embezzlement, fraud, and minority shareholder suppression prior to trial on behalf of one member of an LLC
  • Defended home inspector against homeowner’s claims of negligence and fraud. Prevailed on all claims prior to trial via motion practice and awarded fees for defending against frivolous claims
  • Recovered 100% of owed commissions from prior employer in hearing before FINRA on behalf of a broker who moved firms
  • Represented children of decedent in a will challenge regarding music royalties; resolved favorably for my clients prior to trial
  • Successfully pursued a client’s former employee for computer fraud & abuse and misappropriation of trade secrets; secured injunction against employee
  • Negotiated positive settlement for client with HOA regarding support animal
