Jason A. Snyder

Jason's practice is focused transportation, construction, and business litigation, helping clients assess risk, develop litigation strategies, and defend claims. He is a highly skilled litigator with first chair experience handling all stages of construction and trucking litigation including drafting pleadings, drafting and answering discovery, taking and defending depositions, mediation, trial, and appeals. • Successfully appealed summary judgment granted adversely to client in the Ohio Court of Appeals First District
• Tried residential construct defect case where award to client was three times the highest amount offered pretrial
• Secured summary judgment in catastrophic injury case involving preemption of common law by federal statute
• Won summary judgment and successfully defended appeal of the same in case involving slip and fall caused by an open and obvious hazard in the Ohio Court of Appeals Twelfth District
• Successfully appealed denial of summary judgment on qualified immunity grounds in the Kentucky Court of Appeals
• Successfully defended airline against claim that passenger’s injuries that allegedly occurred during a hard landing and abrupt deceleration were the result of passenger’s head slamming into the bulkhead
