Justin specializes in litigation, focusing on medical defense, professional medical negligence, insurance coverage, and business disputes. 

Prior to joining Roetzel, Justin was a named partner in his family’s longstanding law firm with a strong presence in Mahoning Valley. He brings extensive experience in managing pre-suit and litigation matters in both Ohio and Pennsylvania. Justin's successful track record includes a criminal defense acquittal in Federal Court and favorable verdicts in high-stakes medical malpractice, wrongful death, and catastrophic personal injury jury trials. Justin has obtained exceptional results for business litigation clients through jury trials and dispositive motion rulings. • Successfully tried medical malpractice, wrongful death and catastrophic injury matters to verdict 
• Obtained not guilty verdict in Federal District Court for client accused by ATF of manufacturing unlicensed firearms
• Defeated summary judgment in federal court against party requesting misapplication of Ohio's statutory damages cap
• Litigated the primary case in the Northern District of Ohio involving medical devices, preemption and federal question jurisdiction. Steed v. Boston Scientific Corp., et al., No. 4:17-cv-0824, 2017 WL 2984854 (N.D. Ohio, July 12, 2017)
• Obtained defense verdict for client on intentional tort claims following six figure settlement demand
• Obtained no payment settlement for medical doctor in tortious interference claims where initial demand was multiple six-figures
• Obtained injunctive relief against OHSAA resulting in immediate eligibility for student athlete seeking transfer under the high school "bullying" exception bylaw
• Secured directed verdict on behalf of county politician accused by staff of creating a hostile work environment
