Overview
Tim has extensive experience in commercial litigation, insurance defense, and creditors' rights. He focuses his practice on business and commercial disputes in a variety of formats from trial work to mediation and arbitration. He has experience as lead counsel in over 90 civil trials, including 18 jury trials, and has managed a collection practice of over 150 active cases. He has also appeared in over 50 hearings before the Industrial Commission. In addition, Tim has represented the legal needs of a major window manufacturer.
Tim's oil and gas practice consists primarily of work in lease negotiations, pipeline negotiations, mineral title and lease interpretation disputes, and mineral trespass litigation. He has maintained a practice in the industry for over 15 years, including extensive work in the shale plays in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
In addition, Tim has experience estate planning, real estate transactions, and forming s-Corps and LLCs.
