Eight Roetzel Attorneys Promoted to Shareholder in 2021

Roetzel & Andress is pleased to announce that the firm has promoted Sara E. Fanning, Diana M. Feitl, J. Benjamin Fraifogl, Sarah M. Grieb, Tyler M. Jolley, Jessica Lopez, Jonathan Miller and Christopher W. Tackett to the position of shareholder.

Sara E. Fanning (Columbus, Ohio) focuses her practice in the areas of energy and oil and gas and is a member of the firm’s Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas and Real Estate Practice Groups. Ms. Fanning assists clients in both transactional and litigation matters, including negotiation of oil and gas leases and pipeline rights-of-way, and oil and gas litigation involving the Ohio Dormant Mineral Act and oil and gas lease disputes. 

Diana M. Feitl (Cleveland, Ohio) is a member of the firm’s Public Law, Regulatory and Finance Group. She focuses her practice in all aspects of public law, including government relations, litigation, education law, employment, regulatory and compliance matters. As part of her practice, Ms. Feitl counsels small and large companies, government organizations, and nonprofit entities on legislative and legal matters in a diverse range of industries.  

J. Benjamin Fraifogl (Akron, Ohio) has experience in the areas of energy law and real estate, with an emphasis on oil, natural gas, solar energy, wind energy and related activities. He is a member of the firm’s Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas and Real Estate Practice Group. Mr. Fraifogl represents and counsels clients in a number of settings, including lease negotiations, land use agreements, mineral ownerships and curative work, drilling opinions, and related litigation at both the trial and appellate level. 

Sarah M. Grieb (Naples, Florida) is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group. She focuses her practice on real estate law with an emphasis on commercial and residential transactions, commercial loan documentation and the formation and structuring of business entities. Her practice also extends to corporate and business services. Clients include institutional lenders, commercial developers, buyers and sellers of commercial and residential real estate, and entrepreneurs.

Tyler M. Jolley (Cincinnati, Ohio) is a member of the Products/Transportation Group and focuses on litigation in Ohio and Kentucky in the transportation and retail industries. As a member of Roetzel's Emergency Response Team, Mr. Jolley is experienced in providing immediate and proactive responses to trucking accidents and other catastrophic losses.

Jessica Lopez (Akron, Ohio), a member of the Business Litigation Group, focuses her practice on complex business, commercial, and intellectual property litigation. Ms. Lopez works with businesses and individuals to navigate and manage existing and potential litigation needs in both state and federal courts. Though she has handled many types of complex cases, Ms. Lopez’s work often includes prosecuting or defending commercial disputes, including breach of fiduciary duty, lease disputes, and contract claims related to closely held corporations, partnerships, and large and middle-market companies.

Jonathan Miller (Toledo, Ohio) focuses his practice in the area of employment law, with an emphasis on workers’ compensation defense and general litigation matters as a member of Roetzel’s Employment Services Group. Mr. Miller represents and counsels large and small companies and has experience in crafting Medicare Set Asides. 

Christopher W. Tackett (Columbus, Ohio) is an experienced litigator and is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Group. He represents businesses in commercial litigation, as well as in all aspects of employment advising and litigation, including internal investigations of incidents and discrimination charges, as well as various types of administrative litigation before state and federal agencies. Mr. Tackett frequently handles commercial litigation matters involving complex contract disputes, contentious business breakups and various types of partnership disputes, D&O claims, IP and trade-secret litigation, and disputes regarding alleged non-solicitation or non-compete violations between businesses and their former employees.
