Roetzel & Andress LPA has bolstered its business and commercial litigation practice with the addition of prominent Chicago attorney Marc H. Kallish.
Mr. Kallish joins Roetzel as a partner in the Business Litigation Group and will be based in the firm’s Chicago office.
“Marc’s arrival exemplifies our commitment to enhancing both the breadth and quality of services that we can provide to our clients as they encounter the need for strong litigation counsel,” said James V. Inendino, Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Chicago office. “We welcome Marc to our Chicago office and are very pleased to add an attorney with such a robust background in complex litigation matters to our already strong Business Litigation Group.”
Mr. Kallish, formerly a partner with Freeborn & Peters LLP, focuses his practice on complex disputes, employment litigation, class actions, products liability, catastrophic and wrongful death litigation, antitrust, railroad law and securities litigation. He has developed a unique niche in taking over and turning around high-dollar, high-exposure litigation. He consults for, and often represents, insurance companies and corporate clients, helping them understand the strategic implications of ongoing litigation and whether additional options or actions are available, that may have been overlooked. Mr. Kallish represents clients across many industries including transportation, retail, and health care.
Educated in law at The John Marshall Law School, Mr. Kallish earned his J.D. in 1996. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mr. Kallish is the co-author of the Corporate Legal Compliance Handbook and is admitted to the bar in Illinois, New Hampshire, and to several U.S. Appellate and District Courts across the United States.
