Roetzel & Andress Announces Three Newly Elected Shareholders

Roetzel & Andress is pleased to announce that three of the firm’s attorneys have been elected as new shareholders, effective January 1, 2024. 

“We are thrilled to announce the election of Alex, Carlianne and Phil as the newest shareholders of the firm,” said Roetzel Chairman Bob Blackham. “Their exceptional legal skills, dedication to client service, and commitment to the firm’s values make them invaluable assets to our team. We are confident that their elevated roles will further strengthen our ability to provide outstanding service to our clients.” 

Alexander C. Karcher joined Roetzel last year and is a member of Roetzel’s Products & Transportation Group in Columbus, Ohio.  He focuses his practice on regulatory and compliance, contracts, licensing and safety reviews for trucking and logistics companies. Karcher received his B.A. from Carthage College and earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law. 

Carlianne K. Peake joined Roetzel in 2020 and is in the firm’s Business Litigation group in Naples, Fla. She focuses her practice on complex business and commercial litigation representing developers, contractors, and local governments. Peake received her B.A. from the University of Toledo and her J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law. 

Phillip M. Sarnowski joined Roetzel in 2019 and is a member of the Products & Transportation Group in Akron, Ohio. He focuses his practice on emergency response for trucking accidents and other catastrophic losses, premises liability, and toxic torts. He received his B.B.A from Youngstown State University and his J.D., cum laude, from Capital University Law School.
