Roetzel Attorney Appointed to City of Fort Myers Planning Board

Roetzel & Andress is proud to announce that Zachary A. Liebetreu was recently sworn in as a Planning Board member for the City of Fort Myers.

In this role, Liebetreu will contribute to shaping the city’s future by participating in public meetings and making recommendations to the City Council on amendments to the comprehensive plan and the land development code. The Planning Board also advises the Council on rezonings, including Planned Unit Developments (PUDs).

At Roetzel, Liebetreu focuses his practice on land use law and construction litigation, representing both local and national businesses as well as individual homeowners. His work spans all areas of land use law, including code enforcement, rezonings, and water management district permitting. In addition to his land use practice, Liebetreu serves as general counsel to several local government entities, providing strategic legal guidance on a range of matters. He also advises contractors on enforcing construction lien rights, a critical service in the aftermath of hurricanes that have significantly impacted Southwest Florida.
