Roetzel Expands Products & Transportation Group with the Addition of Two Associates in Ohio

Roetzel & Andress is expanding its Products & Transportation Group with the addition of two new associates in Ohio: Jonathan T. Cope in the firm’s Akron office and Hannah R. Duschl-Pisanti in the Toledo office. 

Cope concentrates his practice on transportation litigation. Before joining Roetzel, he served as an assistant prosecutor with the Canton City Prosecutor’s Office, gaining substantial courtroom experience through both jury and bench trials. 

He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Akron School of Law, where he served as Assistant Editor of the Akron Law Review. He received his B.A., cum laude, from Ursinus College.

Duschl-Pisanti focuses her practice on litigation, with an emphasis on transportation and retail liability defense. She partners with clients to proactively assess risk and develop legal strategies that align with their business objectives. Duschl-Pisanti has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants (2024, 2025).

She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from The University of Toledo College of Law, where she served as an Associate Member of the University of Toledo Law Review and later as Contributing Symposium Editor. She holds a B.S. from Indiana Institute of Technology.
