Andrew J. Moody

Andrew represents clients in a broad range of commercial real estate and corporate matters. His real estate practice includes acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, development, financing, and related transactional matters. He represents landlords, tenants, developers, and business owners in the negotiation and drafting of retail, office, and industrial leases, purchase and sale agreements, easements, and other real estate agreements.

Andrew has significant experience in franchise and multi-unit retail leasing. Prior to joining Roetzel, he served as General Counsel to national quick-service restaurant franchisees, where he managed the company’s national real estate portfolio and negotiated leases for locations across the country. That in-house experience gives him a practical understanding of the business and operational considerations that drive commercial leasing decisions. He also advises residential homebuilders and institutional land banks in connection with complex real estate transactions.

Andrew also counsels closely held businesses on formation, governance, contract negotiation, and day-to-day legal matters, as well as transactional and strategic issues. He works closely with management teams to provide practical legal guidance in support of both ongoing operations and discrete transactions.
