Arlene B. Richman

Arlene is a transactional attorney with an expansive commercial real estate, finance and M&A background. She developed her skills, knowledge and relationships practicing at global and national law firms and as in-house general counsel for two commercial real estate development companies (a privately owned, Chicago-based company and the U.S. subsidiary of a publicly traded Canadian REIT).

Arlene has handled domestic and cross-border transactions (including M&A) and financing transactions for individuals, closely held companies, publicly traded corporate clients, foreign entities doing business in the US, insurance companies, banks and private equity funds. She is comfortable and experienced representing individuals and entities on all sides of such transactions. 

With respect to real estate specifically, Arlene handles leasing (nationwide office, retail and industrial / fabrication facilities), finance (including all aspects of mortgage financing, securitizations, corporate / credit facility lending and workouts for commercial, private equity and individual financiers), acquisitions and sales, as well as all real estate aspects of corporate M&A transactions, operational and management counseling and all aspects of real property and organizational due diligence.
