Overview

Brian helps his clients – financial institutions, health care systems, regional transportation hubs, investors, developers, and other real estate parties – get real estate and finance deals done. He guides them through conveyancing, land use, leasing, zoning, eminent domain, financing and other issues. He drafts and negotiates construction documents and leasing agreements for commercial, industrial, and institutional real estate projects. He provides all forms of commercial finance advice and drafts and counsels on loan documentation for lenders and borrowers involved in mortgage loans, conventional revolving credit and term financing facilities, asset-based lending, loan modifications and loans in transition to forbearance, reorganization, and workout. Brian’s reputation and vast experience make him a client’s safe choice as counsel.

Clients appreciate Brian’s ability to consistently deliver solutions that align with their business interests and strategic objectives. Equally important, they know that they can count on his focus and determination to ensure that their deals are executed on time and on budget, even when it means rearranging his own priorities to adopt theirs.

In one noteworthy transaction, Brian represented a public entity in acquiring a 90,000 sq. ft. building to be repurposed as its main administrative headquarters. That transaction was part of a more complex multi-property deal, which involved four different properties owned by four different players—a deal in which Brian played a key role in coordinating all transactions to a successful concurrent closing.
