Melissa M. Cuddington

Melissa’s practice focuses on health care with an emphasis in both transactional and litigation matters. She represents and counsels health care providers, including physicians and mid-level providers, on a variety of issues, including government investigations, professional licensing, medical staff discipline and structuring employment agreements, and ensuring compliance with state and federal health care regulations, such as the Illinois Medical Practice Act. Additionally, Melissa has experience representing health care providers in litigation involving labor and employment disputes, issues involving non-competes, and contesting adverse clinical privileging actions taken by hospitals. Her experience also extends to representing health care providers before state and federal administrative agencies for disputes involving licensure matters and billing privilege appeals.
